A municipality in the south-eastern France, Bandol is a really an amazing place. It is located in the Var section in the Provence-Alpes-Cote d’Azur area. Initially, the city was constructed around a small military fort in 1595. The Bandol wine region is an internationally recognized wine area in the city. It is located close to the coast east of Marseille and Cassis. Another great feature of this city is the Bandol AOC. It is constructed around the fishing village and covers the production of 8 municipalities with silicon & limestone soils. Grapes are produced in abundance in the city due to favourable soils and warm, coastal climate. The city is spread over an area of 8.58sq.km.
