Located in the Alicante town, Jesus Pobre is a small metropolis. It is situated in Denia, Spain. It is situated at a height of 110m on the slopes of southern side of Montgo. It is believed that the city got its name due o the image of Jesus Pobre. The image is still saved in one of its churches since ancient times. The city is especially known for large numbers of its churches and the ancient buildings that are still there. Father Peter is supposed to be behind the foundation of current city. The main source of income for most citizens of the town is agriculture. Mainly, almond, carob and olive trees are grown on the agricultural lands. Also you can find grape vines in abundance in this town. The town has a weekly Farmers’ Market where locally produced products and baked goods are sold.
