Saint Vincent & Grenadines is an island country in the Caribbean. It is commonly referred to as Saint Vincent only. It is an island country that covers an area of 344 square km. It is comprised of the main island as well as the series of small islands contained in the Grenadines. It is worth noting that large part of the country is located in the Hurricane Belt. Kingstown is the capital of the country. Also it is the major port here. English is used as the official language. Although Saint Vincent and Grenadines is a small country however it is a major tourist destination.
