La Capte is a small resort or village spread over an area of 102 hectares. It is located in one of the 14 districts of Hyeres. The latter is a city in south-eastern France. The village is located in the Var Subdivision of the Provence Cote d’Azur area. The local people are known as Captois. The town is known for its airport, harbour and the Tour Fondue. The last one is the place of departure to the islands of Hyeres. The village has abundance of pine, mimosa, agave and eucalyptus trees.
