La Garde is a small town or village that is curled around a rocky summit amid Mount Coudon and the Mediterranean Sea. It is an old village of the south eastern France. It is located on the outer edge towards east of the Toulon city in the Var subdivision. It lies in the Provence Alpes Cote d’Azur district of the country. It is an independent city that has its own history. The city has still preserved its original medieval character. In Provençal language, it is also known as La Garda. Spread over an area of 15.54sq.km, it is really a nice place worth paying a visit. Les Farigoulettes folklore music group is also among the major highlights of the city.
