Le Pradet is amazing commune that is located in VAR Department of the Provence Alpes-Côte d’Azur region. It is located 13 km from Hyeres, 57 km from the Marseille and it is adjacent to La Garde western north side and Carqueiranne in the east. The façade opens onto the Toulon harbour and coastal large cliffs covers the beaches and finishes in the south-east by Cape Carqueiranne. History

The meaning of Le Pradet is small meadow in the Provence that appears due to humid areas. The configuration of the town is very unique as it is located very close to sea and have many historical buildings. The first documents about the city was written in the 7th century. According to stories people settled in this place due to its diversity among other communes. This city has faced many religious wars, natural disasters and other things in the past. The French revolution made great impact on the city. Another incident that makes great impact on this town history is the escape of Murat in 1815 to Corsica from Le Pradet. This town was attached to the town La Garde but in 1894, it got its independence

La Pradet is located on the French Riviera and has Mediterranean climate that is warm and temperate in the summers as well as mild and humid in the winters. There is continuously high pressure wind flows in the city that can reach up to 148 km (Recorded in 28 November 1983). The average temperature in the city is 15.0 °C with the maximum average temperature in the city is 20. °C during the month of July. The hottest months of this city are July and august with the highest temperatures 29 °C. On the other hand, minimum average temperature in the city is around 6.0 °C with the lowest of -7.5 recorded in the 10 February 1986. That is why it is called as the coldest month of the year. The city receives an annual average rainfall of 665mm rain every year. Maximum rainfall of 156 mm is received during the month of January 16th 1978.
