Le Val is a village or community in the south-eastern France. It is located in the Var subdivision in the Provence-Alpes-Cote D’Azur region. It is situated at the origin of the Green Provence. It is actually a village of traditions where traditional customs and festivals are still celebrated with great fun and zeal. The village shares its cultural values with the visitors. It is spread over an area of 39.34sq.km. There are two chains of beautiful hills around the village. These hills have abundance of pines and scrubland. It is the most admirable spot for houses in the rural area. The village is located close to the Brignoles in a little valley. That is why this village is named as Le Val. The village is an amalgamation of the medieval and Roman quarters and hence special in itself.

History

The history of the village can be traced back to the medieval era. Romans also inhabited the village once. There is an old washhouse from the 16th century in the village that reminds of the past of this place. Also there is church from 1068AD. Similarly, some other structures from 18th and 19th century are still preserved in the village.

Le Val has warm and temperate type of climate. It is due to more rainfall in winters as compared to the summer season. The climate in the village is classified into Csb type as per Koppen and Geiger classification system. The village has an average temprature of 13.4 °C. The hottest and coldest months of the year are July and January respectively. These months have average temperatures of 21.5 °C and 6.1 °C respectively. The average temperatures vary by 15.4 °C during the year. The city receives an average rainfall of 734 mm on an average. The wettest month of the year is November. It receives an average rainfall of 91mm. contrary to this, the driest month of the year is considered to be July. There is an average rainfall of 16mm during this month.
