Saint Tropez is a metropolis in France. It is located on the French Riveria. The city is exactly located 100kms west of Nice in the Var subdivision of the Provence-Alpes-Cote D’Azur area in the south-eastern France. It was the foremost town that was released during the Second World War. Earlier it was dominated by military and a modest fishing village. Following its release, it got recognized at international level due to seaside resort. The city is also famous for the artists of the French New Wave in cinema and the Ye-Ye movement in music. The citizens of the city are called as Tropeziens.
