Budapest is one of the largest cities of the entire European Union and is the capital of Hungary. It is also known as the primate city of the country as it is its cultural, commercial, transportation, industrial and political centre. Budapest came to be a single city by occupying both the banks of famous river Danube on the November 17th of year 1873. Budapest is cited among the most beautiful cities in the Europe and its widespread World Heritage Site comprises of the banks of the Danube, Andrassy Avenue, Millennium Underground Railway, Heroes Square and the Buda Castle Quarter.
