Apulia is a province of Italy located in Southern part of Italy. The Adriatic Sea borders its east side, the Ionian Sea in the southeast and the Gulf of Taranto and Strait of Otranto to its south. Salento peninsula seen on southernmost part of Apulia forms the “stiletto” at the “boot” of Italy. The capital city of Apulia is Bari and the region extends to the far north till Monte Gargano.
