Norway officially known as the Kingdom of Norway is a unitary realm and sovereign country. The country has its territory that consist of Scandinavian Peninsula along with island Jan Mayen and the archipelago of the Svalbard on its west. It is bordered in the north-east by Finland and Russia, in the south by Skagerrak Strait with Denmark on the other part. Norway has a wide spread coastline that faces the Barents Sea and the North Atlantic Ocean. The current king of Norway is King Harald V who belongs to the Dano-German House. Being a constitutional kingdom the country divides the powers of the state between the cabinet, the Supreme Court and the parliament as per the constitution of 1814.
