The village nestles amongst vineyards, olive groves, orchards and fields of cereals; stretching down to the bowl of the River Almachar from the low ridge to the Vallejo peak to the south.Almachar is found 20 kilometers from the shorelines at Rincon de la Victoria, a 30 minute drive, and 30 kilometers from Malaga, a 45 minute auto travel. Almachar is a wonderful setting for an idyllic holiday, you can take in the relaxed pace of life or hire a car and explore all the province of Malaga has to offer.
