Bolonia is a seaside town and shoreline in the region of Tarifa in the Province of Cadiz in southern Spain. It is situated on the Atlantic shore, 22.9 kilometers by street west of Tarifa, however, is substantially nearer as far as seaside remove. The shoreline and bay are also called Playa de Bolonia, Ensenada de Bolonia, or Bolonia Bay. The remains of the Roman town of Baelo Claudia are situated close to the shoreline, considered to be a complete Roman town ruins yet uncovered in Spain. The beach is about 3.8 kilometers in length, with an average width of about 70 meters.Bolonia sits on one of the numerous lovely sandy bays along this wonderful coastline. Bolonia and its shoreline are a most loved with Spanish families from Algeciras and beyond, but it remains largely unspoiled.
