Located in the Midwestern area of United States, the state of Missouri is a moderately populated region. There are close to 114 counties in the state with an independent city of St. Louis. The state has four largest urban areas like St. Louis, Springfield, Kansas City, and Columbia. Jefferson City is the capital city of the Missouri state. The state of Missouri has highly varied geography. The north part of the state has beautiful plains whereas the southern portion exhibits Ozark Mountains along with the Missouri River which divides the regions. The state has intersection of the three greatest rivers i.e.; Mississippi River, Missouri River and the Ohio River
