Florida is a state of US that is located in the southeastern side of the country. Alabama and Georgia are its neighbouring state. On its west Gulf of Mexico is situated whereas to its east there is Atlantic Ocean. It is the third most populous state of the country and in terms of population density it is ranked eight. Tallahassee is the capital city and Jacksonville is the most populated one. This state is surrounded by water bodies on either side and that is why it has its prominent sedimentary soil. The north of Florida experiences subtropical climate while the south has tropical climate.
