EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT GEORGIA

Georgia has 9 regions each with its own distinctive characteristics.  From the relaxing coastline to the breathtaking mountain scenery and all that lies in between. The manicured gardens and the cherry and peach blossom, contribute to this colourful state.  Its character derives from the local festivals, music and golf, scenic back roads and bike trails, and also, its energetic and lively cities.

The Georgian capital, Atlanta, is a thriving city and the gateway to the Deep South.  Savannah, one of the largest historic districts in the country, stretches 315 miles from North to South, making for a busy time if you want to get to know every nook and cranny.

There are 63 state parks, with a wide variety of sceneries, from the Appalachian Mountains in the North to the Marshes of the Southeast (on the Atlantic coast), and, to the swamp at Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge. Georgia's Cumberland Island National Seashore still remains preserved in natural beauty with wild horses roaming its beaches.  Wherever you go in Georgia, diversity is most definitely what you will find.
