Kentucky is positioned in the east-south-central region of US, one among the four states constituted as a common wealth. The fertile soil of the state allows bluegrass to grow abundantly in the pastures and hence its pet name "Bluegrass State". The state boasts off having the longest cave system called as the Mammoth Cave National Park. Also it has the two largest man-made lakes located to the east of Mississippi River. Horse Racing, Kentucky Fried Chicken, tobacco, college basketball, bluegrass music and auto-mobile manufacturing are among the major attractions of the state. It is also recognized worldwide for the historic site called as My Old Kentucky Home.
