Pennsylvania is a state in the US, positioned in the northern and Mid-Atlantic areas. It is authoritatively referred to as the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The state is known for having the renowned Appalachian Mountains running through it. Harrisburg is the capital of the state. It is one among the 13 original discovered states of the country. William Penn got the land in a royal donation and hence set up this state in 1681. In fact, it was named after the name of his father. It is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the US. It is due to presence of countless tourist attractions here. The major ones are Liberty Bell and Independence Hall.
