Andalusia, located in the south, on the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea, is the second largest region in Spain. It is formed by eight provinces and Seville is the capital. With its kilometers of beaches, spectacular mountains, long rivers and mountains, Andalusia is a tourist attraction. The Costa del Sol is the most popular region for visitors, followed by the Sierra Nevada, the Costa de la Luz and the Costa Tropical. The historic cities of Granada, Seville and Cordoba are all popular destinations for a getaway. The monuments, museums and the typical Andalusian atmosphere offer much to see and do. Andalusia is also famous for its white villages, which are characterized by their white houses with typical patios and terraces narrow streets.
